Musicians will know this but others might not. The song you are hearing "Boogie Woogie" was written in 1928 by Clarence (Pine Top) Smith. It was recorded by Tommy Dorsey in 1938 and instantly became a hit. It launched the new Dorsey Band (minus brother Jimmy) into one of the top Swing bands of the 40's.... This is a fun piece to play on the piano
