Individual: Sedgewick, Lydia

Location: Being 26th Dist
Page #: 341
Year: 1850
Father could be Mordecai Cofer per copy of page from " Lyons Legion-24th Missouri Infantry " by Randle Houp at Wilson Creek Battlefield library near Springfield, Missouri. Received from Gary Swift . There was a James O. Attebberry who signed an affidavit for Lydia when she applied for James' pension. He swore that he lived in Elkland, Webster County and that he had known James Johnston for 32 years and he knew him to be a stout able bodyed man before his enlistment. He saw him July, 1865 and knew him to be suffering with diarrhea and piles. They worked together on the farm and teamed together, and they were together for a period of 2 weeksat a time and slept in the same bed together and he complained of his back and the piles and the diarrhea constantly. He visited him frequently while he was sick a bed and he furthered stated that he was not able to perform no more than 1/4 time since his discharge. There was a James O. Atteberry in Webster County in 1870 Washington Twp Aug 15 -Aug 21 1870
