90. Chester Leonard Johnston ⁽¹⁾ was born on Feb 29 1920 in J oplin , Jasper County, Missouri. He died on Sep 9 1993 in Okla. City, Oklahoma. He had Social Security Number. Johnston, Chester Leonard, the oldest child by Benlamin and Myrtle , was born Feb. 29 1920. On leap year. Chet and Mildred had a beautiful relationship. they loved one another and always seemed happy together and had fun where ever they were. He would take Mildred to the " Green corn Feast", that theCherokee Indians always had, they danced well together,, He took her to ice cream socials and to the theater . He was fun loving and a very good person, he looked and acted like his mother, Myrtle.Kind to every one and always fun to be with and loved church and God. He served in Anzio Itly in 1941 to 1945 in WW2 He and June divorced in 1950.But remarried in 1979 to June. They had always loved one another, and he had took care of June and Evelyn even tho he married again.He never stopped loving his first love, June nor his girls.He had a hard time breathing and had a piece of shrapnel in him from the war. He died in Okla.City, Ok. on Sept 9 1993.
