JOHNSTON BROOKLINE - Francis I. Johnston, 74, Brookline, Mo. , died at 11:50 a.m. Sunday, July 18, 1999, in Cox Medical Center South, Springfield, Mo. Mrs. Johnston, a homemaker, was a member of Brookline Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband of 56 years, James Jim Johnston ; two daughters, Connie Nanney, Springfield, and Linda Conklin, Sioux Falls, S.D.; two sisters, Lou Horton, Rogersville, Mo., and Vickie Hughes, Nixa; four grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and a great-great- grandchild. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, July 21, 1999, in Meadows Funeral ome, Republic, with the Rev. John Holmes officiating. Buriel will be in Brookline Cemetery. Visitation will be from 7 to 8 p.m. today in the funeral home. The casket will be closet following the visitation.
